About LNDLRD
LNDLRD is an Alternative band, blending elements of rock, pop, neo-soul, and more. Their music is a mixture of angst and innovation. Based in NYC, their primary goal is making their mark on the ever-changing music industry, and their influences include Bush, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, Portishead, Jungle, Donny Hathaway, Al Green, and many, many more! The band consists of Theo Trane (drums), Julian Dreyer (guitar), Blake Sikar (keys and bass), and Magnus Orion (vocals).
The band formed in the Fall of 2022 with Magnus, Julian, and Blake, plus drummer Chris Grech and guitarist Dylan Zucker, going by The Landlord Snatchers. After cycling through different drummers and names, they found their groove when Theo joined as the drummer in Fall 2023. They renamed themselves Space Ex and spent time crafting their sound, mixing soulful vocals with genre-blending vibes. In 2024, they won the Center at West Park Battle of the Bands. Amidst some political controversy, they decided to change their name again to LNDLRD, keeping a nod to their past while reflecting their growth.

Magnus is the heartbeat of LNDLRD, blending raw emotion with soul-infused vocals that bring their music to life. His writing speaks to the highs and lows of his journey, capturing a mix of passion and vulnerability. He’s got a style that keeps things fresh, always pushing boundaries and staying true to his roots. Magnus is also a solo artist.
BLAKE SIKAR
KEYS/BASS
Blake’s the secret that takes LNDLRD’s sound to the next level. With an innate knack for writing intricate music, he adds a level of creativity that makes their songs truly stand out. Playing piano, keys, and bass, he brings depth and texture to every track. He’s also the band’s resident wit-master, keeping things lighthearted and full of energy, making every rehearsal an adventure.
JULIAN DREYER
GUITAR
Julian’s the brain behind much of LNDLRD’s music, blending genres with a focus on tone, sound, and smooth melodies. As the band’s logistical leader, he keeps everything running very smoothly while bringing intensity to the band. His guitar work has just the right mix of melody, rhythm, and creativity to keep things interesting.
